Los Angeles is full of places and landmarks that attracts tourists worldwide.

The Hollywood Sign

The first thing that comes to many people's mind regarding LA is the Hollywood sign. The sign can be glimpsed from miles away, but to have a closer look, you should go to Griffith Park and see the sign on the Mt. Lee. The Hollywood sign consists of hugewhite capital letters that are 45-foot (13,7 m) tall. Initially, the signbelonged to a real estate development as an advertisement, but because of its high recognition, it was left on the mountain and become a symbol of Hollywood. Unauthorized access to the sign is forbidden, and any movement there triggers an alarm that notifies the police. You can hike to the signto have a closer look (not all the way up to it). 

Hollywood Walk of Fame

If you want to see stars, not the people, but the permanent monuments embedded in the sidewalks, you should go and check out the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is located on Hollywood Boulevard along 15 blocks and also on three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood. Here you can find the names of famous musicians, actors, directors and other figures that have significant achievements in the entertainment industry. Usually, the most attention is towards the areas in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Hollywood & Highland. 

Capitol Records

One of the most prominent buildings in LAis a Capitol Records building shaped like a stack of vinyl. The building is located on Vine Street, north from the Hollywood Boulevard. Although the building is closed to the public, tourists can still have a glance at the building from outside and enjoy this unique architectural design.

Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica Pier is another excellent location for the tourists to visit. There they can see the Solar Ferris Wheel in Pacific Park amusement park, that is regularly featured on TV and in movies. The Pier is located at the end of Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica. 

Disney Concert Hall

The Walt Disney Concert hall is situated in Downtown Los Angeles, 20 minutes away from the Santa Monica Pier, and 11 minutes away from the Walk of Fame. Stainless still waves of the building, that has the design of a ship are floating down Grand Avenue. The Hall is among the most recognizable buildings in Los Angeles.

Griffith Park

Griffith Park is one of the largest municipal parks in LA. The park is situated in the eastern Santa Monica Mountain Range.The park is on the west of the Golden State Freeway (I-5), between Los Feliz Boulevard on the south and the Ventura Freeway (SR 134) on the north. There are numerous attractions at the park; those are Autrey Museum of American West, Bronson Canyon, Greek Theatre, Griffith Observatory, Griffith Park & Southern Railroad, Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round, Griffith Park Zoo, Heritage tree, The Hollywood Sign, Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum, Los Angeles Zoo, and Travel Town Museum.
